Aerospace Engineer
Q: How have things evolved over the years involving aerospace engineering?
A: "Aerospace engineering is a very exciting field. Most of our modern day technologies like the digital camera, computers and cell phones came from the space program back in the late 1950s and early 1960s. These technologies were developed to put a human on the moon and then were adapted for public use. In the area of airplanes, our military is moving from manned aircraft to unmanned aircraft. Now airplanes fly on their own without the need for a pilot in the cockpit. This keeps human on the ground and out of arms way. Who knows how this technology will be adapted for public use in the future? Maybe cars of the future will not need a driver. You simply put in your destination and your car will take you there while you do other things." - Kevin Waclawicz |
