Job DescriptionAerospace / Oceanic engineers design, develop, and test aircraft, missiles, and space vehicles while overseeing their production. They often specialize in one kind of vehicle, such as passenger planes, helicopters, or rockets. In some cases, they also work with earthbound vehicles, such as deep-diving vessels that are used to do research in the oceans. Aerospace engineering includes aeronautical engineering, which is limited to aircraft, and astronomical engineering, which is limited to spacecraft. Oceanic engineers work on fluid dynamics for vessels that travel in the water.
